Privacy policy.

This policy explains what information we collect when you contact the practice or use this site, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to respond to enquiries and run engagements, and we do not sell personal information to anyone. Last updated 28 May 2026.

01 · What we collect

Information you give us.

When you submit the contact form on this site, we collect the details you provide: your name, work email address, company, role, the nature of what you are negotiating, and any context you choose to share. We collect this information so we can respond to your enquiry and assess whether an engagement is a fit.

During an engagement we may receive additional business information from you, such as licensing entitlement records and consumption data. That material is handled under the confidentiality terms of the engagement agreement, not this policy.

02 · Automatic data

Information collected automatically.

Like most websites, our hosting provider may log standard technical information such as your browser type, approximate location derived from your network address, and the pages you view. This is used to keep the site secure and understand general usage. See our cookie policy for detail on cookies and similar technologies.

03 · How we use it

Why we hold your information.

  • To respond to enquiries. The contact details you submit are used to reply, schedule analyst calls, and scope a potential engagement.
  • To deliver engagements. Where you become a client, we use your information to perform the agreed advisory work.
  • To keep the site secure. Technical logs help us protect against abuse and maintain availability.
  • To meet legal obligations. We may retain certain records where law or professional standards require it.
04 · Sharing

We do not sell your data.

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, such as our form processor and hosting provider, and only to the extent they need it to perform that service. We may also disclose information where required by law.

05 · The form processor

How the contact form works.

Our contact form is processed by a third party form service that receives your submission and forwards it to us by email. Your submission is subject to that provider's own privacy terms in addition to this policy. We use the service solely to receive enquiries, not for advertising.

06 · Your choices

Retention and your rights.

We keep enquiry information for as long as needed to respond and, where relevant, for the duration of any resulting engagement plus a reasonable period afterward. Depending on where you are located, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these, contact us and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

If you simply want us to stop contacting you, tell us and we will remove your details from active follow up. We may retain a minimal record to honor that request.
